Chinese Controlled: Yellow area on the map comprises of Aksai Chin and is under the control of China Azad Kashmir: Blue area on the map is under the control of people of Kashmir. It was freed from India in 1948 and is known as Azad (Independent) Kashmir. Indian Controlled: Red area on the map is under the control of India.
